An Historic craft and design collection with schemes of work from the beginning of the 20th century, the work and influence of Geoffrey Wilson when he was Senior Adviser in Craft & Design for the West Riding 1960-1974 and also covering the period when he was Chief Inspector for Schools, Kirklees 1974-1990. Includes slides photography and design projects, papers and publications he produced, illustrating the philosophy and pedagogy he was using with teachers and their children. Also includes papers relating to a Danish Exchange and MA thesis on Craft & Design in Education.
