Robin Tanner began his teaching career at Ivy Lane School in Wiltshire. He went on to become an advisory teacher for art and design in the West Riding of Yorkshire and later an HMI. This is a small but significant collection of his teaching at Ivy Lane including lino printed textiles, some with lino blocks, book covers and a copy of Christmas Pictures by Children taught by Franz Cizek with an introduction by Edward Dulac.
