A collection of paintings and drawings by pupils of Simpson's :Lane Primary School, Knottingley 1865-1991. The work can be seen as an example, and typical of the best of the art work produced in the former West Riding Education Authority. The paintings and drawings were used in the 1990 exhibition 'Sir Alec Clegg and the Arts in Schools'.
